Tucson Area, since 1978, Our Mission:
- We are non-political, non-religious network of committed support groups.
- We are volunteers, widowed, healing after the loss of our spouse.
- We provide a compassionate, safe environment during the grieving process.
- WE join together as survivors and resilient to our "New Normal."
- When you come to a group meeting, your w2w facilitator will provide information. After 3 visits please become a member.
- You can attend more than one group each week.
- Annual Membership $20
- Our widowed groups is to provide a support system, to share our experiences and stories with those who have lost their spouse.
- Perhaps you will meet your "grief buddy" and build friendships with those who know what you are going through.
Membership is any stage of Grief Recovery:
- WE know our grief endures a life-time, no matter our age or marital status.
- "Widowed" defined in our updated by-laws.
- Our Board announces upcoming elections for Tucson widowed volunteers to work in our organization. [see details below]
- PRESIDENT will continue her term.
- Board Positions filled with appointed volunteers. Be nominated for 1st VP, 2nd VP, Secretary and Treasurer.
2026 Election of Board Officers:
- Submit your nomination (for yourself) to your group FACILITATOR by Sept 25.
- Voting by Membership in October.
- Officers induced and assume duties at Nov. 17 board meeting.

- 1) Preside over Board Meetings. Proceed with a quorum.
- 2) Set quarterly schedule and other emergency meetings.
- 3) Oversee all board position duties and facilitators groups.

- 7) Appoint volunteers to fill vacant board positions.

- 2) Outreach Coordinator: ordering, picking up, and distributing business cards and flyers to various therapists, churches, doctors, and funeral homes.
